On April 24, 2010, the JLDOC will once again present Home Roam, a fun and informative opportunity to peek inside local homes with fabulous designer flair. Home Roam will focus on Hope Valley in Durham this year. Please save the date and look for more information about the homes and restaurant partners we will feature. KIDS IN THE KITCHEN 2010
The KITK Committee is planning several fun events this spring. To support their efforts, the JLDOC is selling the fabulous new cookbook Junior Leagues' In the Kitchen With Kids: Everyday Recipes & Activities for Healthy Living. HOLIDAY MARKET 2009
Thank you to all who attended the 6th Annual Holiday Market on November 21st! Holiday Market at the Durham Marriott once again provided opportunities galore for shoppers looking for great gifts, accessories, jewelry, gourmet food, decorative items, and many other treats. Attendees generously provided food items to support the Communities in Schools Weekend Backpack Program and perused the wonderful raffle packages. An especial thanks to our sponsors and vendors...with their support, the Holiday Market Committee surpassed last year's fundraising totals! The proceeds of Holiday Market support the JLDOC and its community programs.

General Membership Meeting

Placement Fair and Dinner begin at 6:00 pm
Look for more information about dinner and the Placement Fair shortly. The membership will also vote on the Bylaws changes that the Board has proposed. A Bylaws document will be added to the Member Area of the website with additional information.
The KITK Committee is accepting donations of pre-packaged snacks for the upcoming Kids in the Kitchen events. Please contact Anna Walker for additional information.
DUES
Dues notices have been mailed. Click here to pay your dues online. The first payment deadline is March 15.
